Terms of Service
Effective date: November 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of Doting (doting.you), a personal relationship companion app. By creating an account or using Doting you agree to them.
Accounts and eligibility
Doting is intended for users 18 or older. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure and for the activity that happens under your Doting account.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you enter or upload to Doting — notes, memories, places, milestones, and photos. You give us a limited license to store and process that content solely to run the service for you: displaying your vault, generating the suggestions you request, and backing up the service. We do not use your personal content to advertise to anyone else.
You are responsible for the content you enter and upload, and you agree not to upload content you have no right to share or that is unlawful.
AI-generated suggestions
Date ideas, gift recommendations, messages, and other coach or concierge output are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, out of date, or not a good fit for your situation. Use your own judgment before acting on them — especially for anything involving money, travel, bookings, or your relationships. Doting output is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid features, if offered, are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay; subscriptions renew until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation stops future charges. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where we decide otherwise.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Doting available, but the service is provided as-is and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice and a way to export your vault content first.
Termination
You can stop using Doting and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service, its operators, or other users at risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doting's operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where practical, announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
